Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is looking for a Health Information Administrator to head our Health Information Department. This is a supervisory position. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Technology or certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator is preferred but will consider similar qualifications. Knowledge, skills and abilities include knowledge of federal laws, Missouri statutes, and policy requirements relating to the maintenance and release of confidential patient information, knowledge of ICD and/or DSM coding, and ability to plan, develop and direct the organization and operation of a health information unit.
